Alternative Provision
Jigsaw-GC provide tailored alternative education opportunities for at-risk youth, working closely with educators and schools to ensure that students receive the support they need. Our Alternative Provision program is designed to prevent students from facing permanent exclusion by offering them a structured, nurturing, and personalised learning environment.

We collaborate with schools, alternative provision centers, and pupil referral units to develop individual learning plans that include core subjects, therapeutic interventions, and mentoring. These personalised timetables are tailored to the unique needs of each young person, ensuring that they can continue their education, manage behavioral challenges, and develop the skills needed to transition into further education, apprenticeships, or employment.

Our approach includes:

-
Shared school timetables where students split their time between their current school and Jigsaw-GC’s provision.

-
Offering short-term placements for students in need of immediate support, allowing them to re-engage with learning while receiving therapeutic care.

-
Mentoring services designed to provide young people with positive role models who can help guide them through personal and academic challenges.

We believe in creating a safe, supportive space for young people to rebuild their confidence, helping them stay on track academically and emotionally, and providing the tools they need to achieve long-term success.
