Kickback Grant
Through the 'MyEnds' Violence Reduction Unit Programme, Kickback is offering £50,000 in community grants to strengthen Finsbury Park. Our fund supports local organisations and individuals who are working to create positive local community change.

FUNDING TIERS
Larger Grants: Designed for impactful projects that actively engage residents, collaborate with local services and include plans for long-term sustainability.
Smaller Grants: Intended for individuals or small groups to organise activities that unite the community, highlight its strengths, and empower residents to help create safer neighbourhoods.
Please note that each applicant may apply for only one type of grant.

LARGE GRANTS
Up to £20,000
​
Two grants available for projects such as youth work, sports programmes, workshops, and clubs.

SMALL GRANTS
2 grants of £2,000 each
3 grants of £1,000 each
6 grants of £500 each

CRITERIA FOR APPLICANTS
We welcome applications from individuals and organisations new to grant proposals. Support is available to help you complete your application—please contact us using the details provided. If unsuccessful, we can offer feedback to strengthen future applications.

EXAMPLE PROJECT TYPES
LARGER GRANTS (UP TO 20K)
This funding is exclusively for small grassroots and voluntary organisations working in the Finsbury Park community. We do not fund large or established organisations.
We support local community projects such as:

Youth programs, sports activities, mentorship workshops, community clubs,educational initiatives, and family support programmes.

SMALLER GRANTS (£500-£2000)
We’re looking to support individuals or small groups to host activities that celebrate the community and bring people together. These grants should be used to strengthen the community in a meaningful way, with the ultimate goal of
empowering residents. Examples of potential small grant projects include:

Cultural Festivals: Events celebrating the community’s diversity

Sports Activities: Local sports day, tournaments, exercise sessions.

Creative Projects: Art, craft, music or photography workshops.

Gardening Initiatives: Shared gardening projects to improve local spaces.

Family Fun Days: Games, storytelling, or bouncy castles for all ages.

Health and Wellbeing: Yoga sessions, health checks, or walking tours.

Community Inclusivity Events: Celebrations recognising and honouring LGBTQ+ Pride community, disability awareness, and diverse cultural identities.

How to Apply
We aim to make the application process as accessible as possible. To achieve this, we welcome submissions in various multimedia formats, such as;​

Other creative approaches.

Applications will be reviewed by a panel of 7 people consisting of community members, young people and representatives from the Kickback Project.
