One key aim of the My Ends programme is to support and build capacity in the grassroots sector. The Kickback Project has co-developed a grassroots fund with local community members and young people to identify the capacity-building needs within neighbourhood organisations. For the duration of the Kickback project, an ‘onward grants programme’ will be administered each year.

Individuals and small organisations based in Finsbury Park that may lack the capacity to access funding from other sources can apply for micro-grants to test out good ideas about supporting young people and preventing violence.

​

All applicants, successful or not, will be able to access capacity-building assistance to support the growth and development of their project/organisation. This includes accessing free learning and development sessions on a range of topics, from scaling up and effective impact reporting to financial planning, fundraising, and income generation.
